“We present the products and treatments that conquer all your foot ailments.”
Throughout my career, I have noticed that most people do not give feet a second thought and, as a result, will develop foot problems at some stage in their lives. Feet are typically the most used yet, the most ignored part of our bodies. This thought has encouraged me to develop my skills in Foot Health in order to help patients with foot problems.
As a Registered Foot Health Practitioner (FHP), I will remain within my given scope of practice and will be promoting awareness of preventing and treating foot disorders. I am able to successfully undertake much of the routine foot care work that Chiropodists and Podiatrists do, such as trimming of nails, reducing thickened nails, treatment of ingrowing nails, removal of hard skin and corns, treatment for verrucae and fungal infections whilst also offering advice for various common foot problems.
Working in Health and Social Care settings for many years has helped me demonstrate manual dexterity, high attention to detail and remain focused. A Foot Health Practitioner's primary role is to help people with their foot problems, not just by using treatment but also by giving advice on the type of shoes and hosiery they should wear to keep their feet in a healthy condition. I am committed to providing a very high standard of patient care, which encompasses the principles of good practice whilst displaying professional conduct at all times. All instruments used are sterilised to British Standards prior to use and is designed to make treatments as quick and comfortable as possible.
